   Humpty dumped me. It was just last fall,
   and my love life hit the proverbial wall.
   Neither men nor horses could make me well.
   and my life’s become an empty shell.

   To other eggs, I became a joke.
   A stinkin’, lousy, rancid yoke.
   None knew the shame of being dumped.
   Being thrown away after being humped.

   Though I was one cell, not even human,
   I still felt the pain inside my albumen.
   Pity me not, it’s to no avail,
   Tis all nothing more than a fairy tale.
