I think over the Cliff Notes would be better.

I cry far too easily. There is hardly anything that has not affected my life at some time in the past.

I laughed. I cried. It changed my life! Wait…That was only reading this comic strip. I need to read that book too. Maybe. Nah. I don’t have a wife to worry about.

I snivel around a lot over stuff that is poignant, touching, or whatever – literature, music, inspiring pictures or nature. I haven’t needed personal life traumas to do this. In my case, it’s gotten more pronounced with advancing age.

My father taught me to love books, I was heartbroken to discovered my otherwise perfect husband didn’t care to read. Took me years to persuade him to at least try.
Finally twisted his arm enough to get him to try reading a few books. Now he gleefully brings me home books that caught his eye.
Thanks Dad!! =) Reading really IS the gift that keeps on giving.
