Either Pasquale has become much shorter or the fleabag has grown much bigger, if they’re now both the same height.

Cartoon anatomy. Don’t worry about it.

I can recall (in the very distant past I must say) lying out on the grass and snoozing beside my cat. Good memories.

Sweet memories of the goofy stuff my best friend Shelly and I used to do on summer days, then look for reasons (which is to say dimes and nickels) to go to the Market Basket or Vern’s Supermarket to cool off in the air conditioning. Still alive and having fun in the back of my mind, making the difficult easier to do now.

Peekaboo’s behavior in this strip may be a bit of an exaggeration, but some cats really are copycats. We had a kitten, Trnka, who would copy the stance of her hero, an older cat. Trnka would watch the old cat and sit like the Sphinx, crossing her front legs with the correct one on top, etc.

Please stop calling Peekaboo a fleabag, she DOESN’T have fleas, and cats can stretch really far when they want to.

Do synchronized tumblesaulters rest in between somersaults?

Just because your cat has fleas doesn’t mean others do!

’’Fleabag’’ can be used as an affectionate nickname, you know…

The amount of ’’awww’’ in this strip is too damn high!

I love how Peekaboo is teaching Pasquale how to stretch and all.
    .
I remember when Little Lily was not even 8 months old. She had caught a mouse and hollered for us (with mouse in her mouth) to come out and pay attention. She, then, proceeded to teach us, looking at us to be sure we were watching at each step, how to catch and kill a mouse. Then she ate it, and we decided to skip the end of that lesson.
