Rose is Rose presents the extraordinary nature of everyday life as seen through the eyes of the Gumbo family. The strip stars child-at-heart Rose and her ASD (Attentiveness Surplus Disorder) husband Jimbo. Their gentle son Pasquale is watched over by his Guardian Angel who morphs from tiny cherub into gargantuan protector. Family kitten Peekaboo boasts that her humans are the cutest in town. Readers relish the romance in Rose and Jimbo's marriage, yet cheer the emergence of Rose's rebel alter ego, the fearless, wild and ready-to-roll Vicki the Biker

How is it Rose and Jimbo have only one kid??
dkram said, 4 months ago
That’s like asking why Lucy and Ricky had one kid while sleeping in separate beds.

Is it time to put on the ‘breaks’?

@Mr Nobody
Because they only want one. They can do a lot of loving without reproduction.

Yep. Not everyone believes in choking the earth with their offspring. It is called “responsible parenting” and a love of the planet.
Kudos to them plus Don and Pat. (Now if you can just get rid of that damn cat…)

Just because you don’t like Peekaboo doesn’t mean that a good lot of us don’t like her. You don’t like it, don’t read it.

@water_moon from yesterday:
I feel for you having to bathe your cat so often, but thankfully she was tiny. When we had rugs, a lady would come over yearly and rub boric acid into our carpets. This kills the flees by dehydration. It never bothered the cats. It might be worth a try. http://www.ehow.com/how_2362283_use-boric-acid-kill-fleas.html

@Ray c … know any natural remedies to keep male neutored cats from spraying outside of the litter box? Course some suggestions think it might be a bladder infection …
hippogriff said, 4 months ago
Rug Ratz: I thought the castration was to prevent sign-posting. A vet can check out bladder infection quite easily and relatively cheaply.

Just because you like annoying wild undisciplined cats doesn’t mean a good lot of us don’t. You don’t like our comments, don’t read them.
