The strip stars child-at-heart Rose and her ASD (Attentiveness Surplus Disorder) husband Jimbo. Their gentle son Pasquale is watched over by his Guardian Angel who morphs from tiny cherub into gargantuan protector. Family kitten Peekaboo boasts that her humans are the cutest in town. Readers relish the romance in Rose and Jimbo's marriage, yet cheer the emergence of Rose's rebel alter ego, the fearless, wild and ready-to-roll Vicki the Biker

Well you will have this from time to time… Not when you expect them, but when the human is about to pick up the towel up… By the way it is always meant. Because a cat never does anything accidentally… LOL
Or so that is the way our three act when caught doing something incredibly dumb….

This would not happened if they had a dog. It could have been trained to bring the towel. You can’t train a cat to do anything useful.

Curling up on your lap and purring, putting his paws on your chest and looking into your eyes, jumping from the floor to the top of the kitchen cabinets and looking down at you, not needing a bath ever…those are all useful things.

And one of our cats is excellent at spotting stinkbugs; almost like a pointer. She also loves to play fetch: she drops her toy right at my feet.

I agree with all of that except not needing a bath. They do need a bath every few months or so. But nothing can beat that sweet purr of contentment when you love on them.

I have a separate shower and I put a big beach towel in front of it before I get in. My black cat Boo gets on it every day and rubs all over it and chirps, yips, and makes other noises. I have to bend down and rub her back with both hands like I’m giving her a massage. She then grabs it up in her front paws and scrubs it with her back paws. This is a DAILY ritual and even though I try to be as quiet as I can, no matter where she is in the house, she flies to the bathroom the minute the towel hits the floor. It’s our Boo and Mommy time.

This is embarrassing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rose without her glasses before.

Claw snags and many bigger disasters are prevented by occasional clipping. One need not cut them way back; just snip off the needle points. Another reason to do it is the pleasant feeling when one gives a cat’s toe the gentle press that brings out the claw.

Absolutely charming ritual. My newest rescue developed a ritual during evening tooth brushing. He enjoys the running sink water, taking a cold fresh sip and expecting a gentle massage while I brush.
