The strip stars child-at-heart Rose and her ASD (Attentiveness Surplus Disorder) husband Jimbo. Their gentle son Pasquale is watched over by his Guardian Angel who morphs from tiny cherub into gargantuan protector. Family kitten Peekaboo boasts that her humans are the cutest in town. Readers relish the romance in Rose and Jimbo's marriage, yet cheer the emergence of Rose's rebel alter ego, the fearless, wild and ready-to-roll Vicki the Biker

take me down to paradise city, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.

We’ve only had about 2 weeks of winter where I live. Such a warm winter means the bugs and soil borne pathogens will be a lot worse this summer —> more mosquitos and higher prices for local produce.

I’m ready for spring but not ready for summer’s heat.

We’ve had a mostly balmish winter in St. Petersburg (though it’s 65 and windy now – hoodie weather for us), but our daughter in Sheboygan County in WI has reported massive snowfall and gale-force winds. Semi’s are stuck or jack-knifed all over the place, emergency personnel can’t get to accidents, and people are face-planting outside and injuring themselves. We live in interesting times . . .

Yeap, everyday I check the “Deals” on Island getaways. Maybe if I could get Vici to go I’d commit!

I must live fairly close to your daughter; I’m located at the north end of Kohler-Andrae State Park. We had about 15 inches of wet heavy snow, and the county plowed a pile about 4 feet high where my driveway enters S. 12th Street. Luckily, my snowblower was up to the job.

I miss winter. Or at least, having something besides frigid temperatures and wind all winter. We used to get snow, lots of snow, here. The last few winters have been so dry not even the 9000 foot peaks have no snow on them. The 12-13K peaks only have a few inches to a foot or so, not the several feet they should have
I hate droughts!

I wonder what type of swimsuit Vicki favors?

Toronto got hit by 20cm of “sploosh” the last two days. Snow, ice , melted snow and slush.
Wish me luck walking and sliding around there today.

@Llywus
So, are you saying the 9000 foot peaks have snow on them? That’s what your double negative means.

We’ve been getting the slush too. And since Tues we discovered the roof leaks as it plopped on to my side of the bed, I so want it over! Then we can patch the roof.
