Rose is Rose presents the extraordinary nature of everyday life as seen through the eyes of the Gumbo family. The strip stars child-at-heart Rose and her ASD (Attentiveness Surplus Disorder) husband Jimbo. Their gentle son Pasquale is watched over by his Guardian Angel who morphs from tiny cherub into gargantuan protector. Family kitten Peekaboo boasts that her humans are the cutest in town. Readers relish the romance in Rose and Jimbo's marriage, yet cheer the emergence of Rose's rebel alter ego, the fearless, wild and ready-to-roll Vicki the Biker

Only 3 months till spring here in the PNW. (Or perhaps 5 if it’s like the last 4 winters that lasted 2 months longer than normal)

Huh? I’m near you and it looks like the lawn needs a mow already- if it’ll stop raining long enough for me to do it.
All the stores have their bedding plants out, too.

She’s like Crankshaft. Loves the seed catalogue and can’t wait to get started on their gardens.

That’s my reaction, but my catalogs came a few months ago. I have started my seeds indoors.
Who gets bills in the mail anymore? Every single one of mine is online, or paid automatically.

The don’t last longer … they just start LATER.
In Toronto, Winter didn’t “REALLY” hit us until January.
Now, if it had started like it SHOULD have in November, March would be the month we’d see warming up… but I predict one more storm in early March.
.
In November, by the way, I wore SHORTS because it was at 15C.

I know! They’re all thinking that it’s global warming, but if it is, how do you explain why it’s snowing in florida, texas, california and arizona?!?!

I don’t give my bank account number to anyone, so my bills come in the mail & I go to my bank’s bill pay page online & pay them that way.

I have long suspected that what we have been experiencing is seasonal shift rather than global or climate change. Seasons are shifting when they happen i.e. summers start later so fall seems to be warmer, but winter seems milder because fall starts later & so on.
