Rose is Rose presents the extraordinary nature of everyday life as seen through the eyes of the Gumbo family. The strip stars child-at-heart Rose and her ASD (Attentiveness Surplus Disorder) husband Jimbo. Their gentle son Pasquale is watched over by his Guardian Angel who morphs from tiny cherub into gargantuan protector. Family kitten Peekaboo boasts that her humans are the cutest in town. Readers relish the romance in Rose and Jimbo's marriage, yet cheer the emergence of Rose's rebel alter ego, the fearless, wild and ready-to-roll Vicki the Biker

On planet my life my wife… If I try and wake her when she falls asleep on the couch I get slapped. If I try to carry her to the bedroom I get a hernia. If I let her sleep on the couch for the entire night I hear about how I never try and move her to the bed when she crashes on the couch….

If at first you don’t succeed, set an alarm.

I’m so sorry you’ve got a “typical” wife! Glad I don’t live up to that standard. When my husband wakes me he gets a big smile. Or at least a very disoriented one and I get myself up & walk to bed. He’s carried me a couple of times and I loved it! No hernia for him either :)

Just bring her a pillow and a blanket.

Leave her there and tune out her whining. Less painful than a hernia or a slap. And you can walk away from it.
I would try to lift/carry her once. If she was not properly grateful, she would not have a second chance.
Why are married guys so conditioned to be wimps?

It’s called love, concern, consideration, compromise, marriage – take your pick.

And where she slept, they made her bed…
