    when our Poowonue did that—we called her a “junk yard kitty”…of course she couldn’t get into the trash..but she liked to inspect pans and dishes in the sink area for"goodies".

    Debbie…so sorry to hear about your kitty. Hope you eventually got another one. The only time any of my cats are interested in the garbage is if there’s any kind of bones in it so I have to shove them WAY down but they still manage to fish one out every now and then.

    Sorry for your loss. It sounds like he resembled our cat Chester, who weighed about 17 pounds, and also was just a big cat, no fat on him either.

    If you catch just the right age for neutering, you get a big neutered male cat who is not fat but can definitely be fast. Apparently the hormones no longer needed for puberty go into bone and muscle growth. I have had several. I miss than all.

    so would you be appeased by the lightning dog story? (Yes,i have cats, but at the moment the rescued terrier is stealing the cute moments … presuming i can break her of trying to eat the stuffing out of the chair cushion … LOL)
