    Wait a second…I thought Rose said yesterday that the Gull was a long way from the Ocean! How did Peekaboo get there by herself?
    Maybe this is a pier on a lake somewhere close??

    My cats are fascinated by gulls – and Peekaboo had better be wary. (My only problem with the strip the past couple of days is that gulls don’t “caw”, crows and ravens do that….)

    My sister had a cat who used to lie on its back in the yard, and if a gull flew down to inspect it, he’d wrap up the gull and give it what fer.

    Right! As I said yesterday, it’s not really a sea gull, it’s a crow in disguise. Explains why it’s so far from the ocean.
