    This is where I, an amateur, ask you, my awesome Sherpa friends for advice. Does this cartoon look like the butterfly has just emerged from his chrysalis, or does it look like he is awaiting another butterfly to emerge so he can pick up on her? The latter was the intention. Just wanted to make sure that it is obvious.

    Also, if you haven’t checked out rogue symmetry .com lately, I have been monkeying with it and trying to add more content. Also trying to make it look nicer. Still a LOT to do but if you have a few, check it out and watch the progress. Eventually, my goal is to make Rogue Symmetry not only represent my toons, but all my funny ideas whether they be shirts, stickers, videos, or music. I just wanna make people laugh!

    Take care, my friend.

    @Rogue Symmetry

    I thought he was waiting for another to emerge. Well, no, the truth is I thought he was going to hit on her before she emerged. Kind of the butterfly kingdom version of ‘robbing the cradle’. Anyway lame pick up lines are always funny! :)

    Anyway, I don’t blame him for getting anxious to get started, they don’t live very long you know.

    Ha, you’re right about that! I am glad that you saw this the same way I did. Thanks!

    I agree with Bev ….he’s lurking with intent to rob the coccoon.

    (Apropos to nothing, except I thought you might like this image….)

    Shouldn’t take more than, oh, 40 – 50 years to get through that downtown.

    The pretty butterfly distracted me from the chrysalis at first. After reading the captions I then spotted it and saw it as a ‘premature’ move.

    I hope he doesn’t have the same problem with ejaculation!

    I think it looks she is waiting for the other to emerge – she wants to be sure she is still the fairest of them all.

    That’s probably going to be longer than I care to wait in a traffic jam….

    First…1.) The art. Maybe your best. 2.) The writing. Among your best. 3.) The cartoon on the whole…A+. This is good stuff, Derrick. Concerning the butterfly…my impression is that he has been around for a while and has come upon the chrysalis and is planning his move.

    I agree with Tame, Derrick. Love the artwork (especially the butterfly). Dialogue is very funny/sweet. The only thing that is confusing me is that it’s hard to tell who is saying what. I still love it though!

    Oooh, Is that one of those house eating snails like they have in Florida? If so it wouldn’t really take that long to get through downtown.
