   I have actually thought about the possibility of this myself Derrick! Or just take the gun to the trade site, point it at the guy and say, “Give me all the gift cards”

   
   Also, considering some guns are pricey, it better be a huge amount on the gift card. Turn in a $200 gun for a $25 certificate?

   While I have turned in old rusty firearms that no longer put meat on the table I like the gift card idea doing what the old weapon can not. But if there was a mean spirited dude waiting for the card, well, I keep the well maintained back-up.

   Well, I am guessing, just like purchasing a gift card, that they are not activated till the transaction is complete. The thief may just end up with a stack of plastic.

   Not going strip format, but this is what I like so much about being a Sherpan: I can do my toon in whatever dimension is needed. A border cannot contain me! There will be another strip next week also, but not to start a pattern. Just needed a strip format for the idea I had.

   That is interesting. How bad of condition can the firearm be in? I mean, if there is no firing pin, why would they reward you for getting it off the street?
