Pennsylvania Voter: Would a recount change the outcome of the election? Probably not. But I sill think it's an important thing to do... I want to be sure the vote was absolutely fair and accurate. Before completely losing faith in my fellow man and moving to Canada!
Most people are really decent and we do truly have a lot in common with each other if you take the time to communicate. On the other hand, American politicians seem to believe that only rancor, division and opposition can work to get elected to office … and it has to be their exclusive way once elected. It’s turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy as most Americans are now disgusted with the candidates … election turnouts are declining (under 60%) and Congressional approval is either in the low teens or single digits.
