    The same people who wanted to censure the Dixie Chicks anti war statements, support the cartoon bozo’s hate speech.

    SLANDER! Can you flag a strip for being SLANDER! He did not say that! He worked along side the blacks! He has a adopted black grandson! You have no clue as to what they guy said or did not say! You are just right out smearing him by putting slanderous statements in his mouth! You should be sued!

    BS!!!!
    The Chicks open their mouth over seas. The country told them to shut up and sing and then good by! This guy was asked about his thoughts and he told them, and now cartoonist are using slander to bastardize what he said! People support what he said and it was a network, who are whiten their rights, are shutting him down. the public is saying go ahead we support the guy to say what he wants, we supported the Chics, They could say what ever they wanted but unlike the duck guy, we do not what to hear it!

    Here you go, Harley; a DIRECT Quote.

    “I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once,” the reality star said of growing up in pre-Civil-Rights-era Louisiana. “Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field … They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’ — not a word!”

    Robertson continued, “Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

    Needless to say, that hasn’t gone over well either. A spokesperson for the NAACP shared a copy of the letter that they, along with the Human Rights Campaign, sent to “Duck Dynasty” network A&E. In addition to asking for the network to “denounce and repudiate Robertson’s comments,” they demanded that Robertson “apologizes for his vitriolic comments.”

    “We want to be clear why Phil Robertson’s remarks are not just dangerous but also inaccurate,” the letter stated, in part. “Mr. Robertson claims that, from what he saw, African Americans were happier under Jim Crow. What he didn’t see were lynching and beatings of black men and women for attempting to vote or simply walking down the street.”

    @masterskrain

    And this cartoon is edited out almost all of that! He was WITH THEM! He was ONE OF THEM! "I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. "
    Then he made an observation for that time as one of them!
    And I agree with him and statistic will bear me out in that the black community had a very high marriage rate and a lower unemployment before the civil rights movement! how about that?
    ". “Mr. Robertson claims that, from what he saw, African Americans were happier under Jim Crow. "
    They are so full of it! They are about to lose what little credibility they still have! This was not about Jim Crow! This was about HIM, the duck guy, working in the fields WITH blacks, and how they were also Godly People right alone with him! That they believed in the same family values and the value of a hard days work as HE DID!

    The cartoon says “Blacks were happy before civil rights and welfare”.
    Robertson continued, “Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”
    Sure sounds like EXACTLY the same thing to me…

    That is really funny, in a sad sort of way. You stating that anybody else has a “holier than thou” attitude. Especially when on another thread you condemn all liberals to eternal damnation (as if you were God making judgement)! Perhaps you should try to remove the log in your own eye, before trying to remove the sliver that is in others eyes?
