    I, for one, favor a voter ID law, BUT, do not agree with other restrictions and certainly do not trust the conservatives.

    Robby, it’s just stupid! Do you travel for work or have you ever traveled? Do you just walk through without showing who you are or go whenever you want? I didn’t think so asshole! Why should dems get all of their illegal friends to vote? I know, it’s the only way they’ll win!

    80% of New Yorkers don’t have a car.
    And how DARE you suggest that LEGAL voters being disenfranchised for the sake of racism (it’s certainly not voter fraud; NC found one case in the last presidential election) is comparable to illegal votes?

    One case is too many.

    I think you mean 80% of New York City residents. I’d imagine that more than 20% of people living in Buffalo (that other New York City) have a car. Additionally, do 80% of New Yorkers not have a job? You have to have some sort of ID to get a job. Do 80% of New Yorkers not have rent or mortgage? You have to have ID to do those things too. Do 80% of New Yorkers never buy cigarettes or alcohol? Are 80% of New Yorkers under 18? It’s a law in most states that if a police officer asks for ID for any reason and you don’t have one, it can mean getting arrested. So far, nobody has shown one single shred of proof that requiring an ID, which is necessary for so many other normal things, to vote has kept anyone away from the polls. This is pure stupidity mongering from the left. Apparently it’s working.

    Keep it up Rob. Keep selling this rotten meat to those who pay your bills. But next time, could you at least offer one single shred of proof that voter ID laws are keeping anyone from the polls? And by proof, I mean something other than conjecture.

    Great cartoon today, Rob! I love it! To the GOP, voter suppression is the American Dream.

    So I need a photo ID to open a checking account, withdraw cash from that account in person, rent a car, fly on a plane, and many other activities. Yet it is so difficult to ask someone show one to vote?

    And why in the hell is everything with Liberals perceived to be about race? Good grief, it is like a broken a record.

    @Adrian Snare

    Since I had to prove I was a citizen and sign, and since they always check my signature, the ballot stuffing happens when the people who control the polls let people vote early and often for the candidate whose operatives control the polls.

    How will Voter ID stop a corrupt voting observer from letting his friends vote early and often?

    And I say again. I still don’t see how having to show a valid identification is voter suppression? In my state, we have to have a valid ID to be in a bar. Wouldn’t that be beer suppression?

    I’d say that elephant better get out of the way. When that sucker goes off, it will take him with it! GOP, take notice!

    Why not. The GOP gets all their illegal friends to vote. They also do everything they can to make sure that those who don’t agree with them don’t get to vote.

    Once again: All of those activities you mention are NOT protected by the Constitution. Voting IS.
    You know, the same way gun advocates say that anything restricting gun ownership is illegal because of the 2nd Amendment?
