Don’t forget it was the Bush admin that put TSA into place.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Hardly anyone spoke out against that travesty.

We sure are lucky that the terrorists didn’t win, huh?

@Radish
And the Democrats who forced the stupid rules to be dumbed down for our own good.

@zoidknight
What are you referring to? The recent return to sanity by letting people carry on pocket knives? That’s not “dumbed down,” that’s smartened up. I am mortally tired of this bloody “security theater” that makes us no safer but forces us to dance to the TSA’s arbitrary and highhanded tune. But Bush put them in place, so you won’t consider them an element of a police state.

If it were up to the NRA then everyone on a plane would be issued a gun.

^Agree, and let’s hope the next step back to sanity is eliminating that sock-walk through airport security.

It’s not how I think, it’s how the NRA thinks. You shouldn’t think kindergarten word play has any value, please, it makes you look like a simpleton.

Radish, Bush did all he could as president to begin defending Americans from the 9/11 type using hidden small “weapons” in hijacking airliners full of passengers to suicide dive into US buildings of symbolism of our political system!
-
Bush did not write the rules for How To screen passengers!
That was left up to appointed directors and “trained” hired screeners….apparently low-grade in education! TSA should be held to accountability for stupid rules and bad hires, IMO.
-
Radish, do you want NO SCREENING of passengers in mass transportation? And do you blame GW Bush for your own daily problems and troubles that afflict every human on earth?

@olfart
Children play the blame game.
What we need are more quality adults…
Anything can be a weapon…so lets ban every-thing; except, of course, man’s reason for terrorism….
We we learn tolerance/respect and so forth..terrorism and the government responses will go the way of the do-do bird and the eight track..

David, if everyone or even a few passengers on those 4 airliners had legal concealed carry weapons, I think it very likely that not one plane would have completed the mission!
The 4th passenger group successfully prevented another federal building from being a target, even without weapons, because time gave them information via cell phones…and they had the courage to stand up to the terrorists. If they could have shot the terrorists, and there was someone aboard who could fly the plane, they might not have died in that Pennsylvania field, thanks to the War of Hate being carried on by the Religion of Hate…Islamic Jihad.

All the terrorists had on their side was FEAR and box openers…
The pilots should carry non-lethal means of defence…..
This does exist, you know…

I too have a very low opinion of the NRA….I suspect that their ability to think is limited.
