Did Robby’s 5 year old son draw this?
I see why he works for “The Pittsburg Post-Gazette”, whatever the hell that is.
IT’S LESS THAN A 9% DECREASE IN GOVERNMENT SPENDING! YOU’LL SURVIVE, DC.
Welcome to the other 90% of the country that doesn’t have a cushy government job. While you all might not have gotten as big of a raise lately because of the recession, the rest of the country has seen their hours cut, pay reduced and even lost their jobs the past 4 years.
Get over it.

Another example of when “you have such a stunningly superficial knowledge of what went on that it’s almost embarrassing to listen to you.”
Sequestration is a shot gun blast that will ‘kill’ some waste/fraud/overspending, but it will also kill programs that have great value to our nation and our people.
Sequestration is an example of political cowardice…rather than facing constituents with solutions built on bipartisan compromise. This enables both parties to ‘break promises’ to donors while asking for money to fight against the “bad guys” from across the aisle who are ‘really made this happen."
It is also laziness. Tearing down the house and building a new one costs more than remodeling and rehabilitating the house and is much more work, but then the people who do the rebuilding can say, “Look what we did!!” The fact that the new construct is made of shoddy materials and poor workmanship is masked by cosmetics.
It’s hard to get over it when I see D&R politicians getting over their voters.
Respectfully,
C.

Cool, because not getting ships back to sea on schedule or getting troops deployed doesn’t really affect much, right?

The General replies “Yes, but you know those Republicans. They can’t even do that correctly!”

@ghostkeeper
Yet, strangely the Republicans are the ones passing the budgets and the democrats are the ones blocking it. So I see your knowledge is as lacking as the catoonist’s.

Sadly, when they ‘target’ cuts, they close parks and increase waiting times for TSA and DHS inspections, so they can protect the Startrek Phasar programs that a) violate the laws of physics and can’t possible work; but b) provide the best baksheesh to those targeting the cuts.

President Obama proposed budgets which the GOP in the House threw away. Then the House passed budgets with major increases for military, including funding for things like tanks that the Pentagon doesn’t even want. They included all sorts of deregulation, proposed gutting the EPA and other protections. Then they added tax cuts for the top.
This is NOT a workable budget and should be blocked.

ZING!
Republicans hate government and want to destroy government.
Except the part that tells you who to marry, what women should do with their bodies, and what countries to invade.

should read – “isn’t their president doing it already”. This is his mess – He chooses the blame game and takes no credit.. what a great leader we have….

wrong Troll…Remodeling cost about twice as much as new construction, but it saves the good
parts of the structure.
