And the best news for democrats is that the extreme part of the GOP (90% of it) is digging in and insisting on becoming more conservative. So they will alienate more hispanics, more blacks (if that’s even possible) and more of every group that is not rich white men or their stooges, poor uneducated white men. If they do that democrats will hold the white house for many elections to come.

Unfortunately they will run out of money to give away and then chaos ensues. I am a Libertarian and don’t endorse most of the the Republican platform, especially their social values and focus on the military. But I also believe the entitlement mentality of the country will be our quicker than expected downfall as a world power.

Funny!
.
I like to think however that what has lost is not Mitt Romney but the Republican Policies of Corporatism (or corporate kleptocracy).

It ain’t the fall that hurts, it’s that sudden crashing into reality at the bottom…

If the Republican platform was genuine about reducing the deficit, I’d understand this. Their track record has been to cut taxes, add to military spending and get nothing done about entitlements.
Between demographic shifts and the negative view of the Tea Party from anyone outside their ranks, the GOP is in danger of going the way of the Whigs.

I voted for Obama not for the bogus reason of “free stuff” but because he is working to further the American dream. I’ve paid a boatload of taxes over the years and believe we all should to support our common needs. Universal healthcare helps us all. Unbridled military spending doesn’t. And let’s not forget those in the military are part of socialized medicine.

I like the comments about Romney losing…The ppl who are gloating are forgetting the fact that our parties spent more than a billion dollars and we have the same balance of power in Washington as before…waste of time and money for no change and no hope for the future. Our children are still stuck with 16 Trillion dollars in debt, millions are out of work and neither party is willing to do anything about it, but at least the “Rich White Guy” lost. I’m moving to Colorado so at least I can be high while the country fails.
