    Obozo looks lost.
Community Organizer should’ve been the pinnacle of his career.

The whole Middle East, parts of Eastern Europe, a good bit of Africa, some of the far East, all escalating. Anyone else see paralells with the Balkans in the last century? Stick our noses into every little conflict, like McCain wants, and all we’ll be sure of is a faster descent into chaos and another world war. Stay out of it, and they can go to hell in a handbasket in small, separate pieces, rather than all together.

Once again, for Republicans/Fox “news” viewers, the resolution to every issue is hatred of Obama.

One hundred years ago, an Archduke had just been assassinated (along with his wife) but everyone KNEW that this could not escalate. War was an artefact, a relic that had ended with the 19th century, because International Trade had grown to the point where no nation could afford to go to war. So it was absolutely clear that some peaceful resolution to the assassination would be found.

Fortunately, today we are very short on Archdukes, so it’s not likely another one will be assassinated any time soon. So we can clearly relegate war as a relic of the 20th century (the US has prevented all wars with its proactive peacekeeping efforts in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya this century, and the US will make sure it preserves the peace, even if it has to nuke some warmongers to do so).

Maybe we should just bomb the s—- out of the whole area. Then whoever survives can be recognized as the “legitimate” power in the region!

I believe they are referring to loose in the sense of win/loose rather than gain/loss

At the time of the first Golf War, I criticized G W Bush for not “finishing the job” by invading Iraq. We have since learned that he made the right decision.

We tried bombing the s—- out of the whole area. Didn’t come out so well the first time. Why would it be any better this time? We have no allies in the region, other than the global petrochemical firms.

…and to those that hate “faux news”, blind adoration and worship. Too much Koolaid is never enough.
    .
Worship him or not the ’toon is spot on. There is no win for the president on this one.
