Texas just put Mitt “ahead”. Okay, Texans lost at the Alamo. Texas then joined the union, and quickly quit, to lose again. Lindon Johnson, Texan, gave us Tonkin and a senseless war. GHW Bush gave Saddam the go ahead to invade Kuwait, another war. G.W. Bush gave us “WMDs” and the most expensive war in history, and well Afghanistan the longest war in history. So, if Texas is giving us Mitt, shouldn’t we wonder if we can afford another recommendation from Texas??

What does any of your mindless pap have to do with this toon?
Private equity vs. public equity is the context. Romneys record vs. Obamas record.

Obama is using the new healthcare bill to empty everyone’s bank account. America will go out with a whimper not a bang.

This so called ’toon is pure BS. BHO is not picking our pockets. It is wall street, the big corporations, the banks and the top 0.01% who are picking our pockets.

Really? Hey, exactly what law is it that requires you to invest in anything, spend money at any particular corporations market or borrow money from any single bank? On the other hand, if you do not participate in the “voluntary” tax system you go to jail ….. well, unless you happen to be the Sec. of the Treasury or a Congressman on the Democratic side.

Wall Street, big corporations and banks are all in business to make a profit. So yes they collect money from those who choose to participate in that business with them.

Government is in the business of spending other peoples money, YOURS. Profit is not on the agenda.

So once again, who is it that is taking your money with no chance of you receiving a dividend?

“Wall Street, big corporations and banks are all in business to make a profit. So yes they collect money from those who choose to participate in that business with them.”
I take exception to that. If I take my money to a bank, or if my retirement plan takes it there, I expect it to be safely invested. I did not give permission to the bank to speculate with it for excessive profit, and possibly lose it. That is where reasonable regulation should come in again.

Yeah. I’m sick and tired of my tax money going to pay 80 year old grandmothers for their prescription drugs because their kids are just too cheap to pay for it themselves!!
(sarcasm, just in case anybody wondered)

My point is: Texas, Trump, and Bain capital are all the use of “attitude” to keep us from observing real impacts of their actions, and THEY have been the ones using “distraction”. (Yes, I’m aware LBJ was a Democrat, but at least he ran a “variety store”, and not a sole source operation.)

One of the myths going around is that Obama is a big spender.
    He compares favorably to Eisenhower.

Republicants want to put everything on the credit card so they can claim not to be big spenders.
