I guess that sometimes insanity is inherited.

And HOW did Ms. Mansfield’s costume get on fire? As for the first World Cup, the doc should’ve opened the chloroform as soon as he got to the player.

Her costume was made out of a flammable material and a grip not seeing her tossed a match where she was sitting.

Ms. Mansfield was sitting in her car during a break in filming when the accident occurred. I have to wonder what material they used for her costume that was that flammable.

Nah, he’s probably on the government payroll, where you can be missing for 147 days and nothing would be noticed.

100 days would have been a tribute. He was either trying to one-up her or he got lost on the way out.

Any material of that period could catch on fire very easily. Flame retardant materials was still in it’s infancy at the time. The Flammable Fabrics Act of 1953 legislature forced manufacturers to discontinue selling clothing that were made from dangerous textiles.

I think Geoff was just “playing dead” – a time-honored way to dodge creditors.
