    WWI is also where the superstition of never lighting a cigarette(or candle) from a single match began.
    First cigarette, alerted the sniper.
    Second cigarette gave him time to aim.
    Third … bang!

    An old buddy of mine tried to climb a radio tower to steal a Vulture chick years ago and got vomited on during the failed attempt. We told he was an idiot for trying, the smell was so awful that we made him walk home.
    Took him 6 hours, no one would give him a ride.
