Monkey Ward creates a red nosed reindeer. That’s kind of wrong, you know…

And just how does the Dogfish Head Brewery get their moon dust? It’s not like NASA goes to the Moon often.

I recall reading in The Straight Dope that Paul Bunyan was created in the 1920s to advertise maple syrup.

They probably bought some thoroughly sifted, tested for everything, moondust from N.A.S.A. and put in about 3.2 picograms per bottle. After all, the moon bus has been out of service for quite some time.

Sam Caligione of DFH brewery has done some beers with ‘odd’ ingredients, but never with moondust as far as I know (and I’m not only a craft beer fanatic, but a homebrewer as well). Jim Koch of Sam Adams brewery (Boston Brewery) is another craft brewer who likes to use unusual ingredients to ‘push the envelope’ a bit … but they’re all good (imho).

Well… the Chinese are there now… maybe they bought from China like Walmart does :oP

Since the Internet, Ripley started to have lapses like this one. Who knows what they read that could have been misundertood that way.

I don’t believe that the moondust thing is real, but Dogfish Head is a real brewery.

Search results Celest-jewel-ale This Brewpub Exclusive is an Oktoberfest brewed with moondust and is so outta this world, we’re serving it in space suit koozies! Celest‐jewel-ale was designed to celebrate the fall equinox and the harvest moon. It is made with lunar meteorites that have been crushed into dust, then steeped like tea … – See more at: http://www.dogfish.com/search/apachesolr_search/moondust#sthash.e7kGfdtL.dpuf

Gene Autry was my hero ! Also a great entrepreneur, very wealthy, Owned the LA Angels ball team. However,a waitress a bar in Cincy said he got really plastered on the sauce a lot in his later years..
