My older brother went on an English-teaching internship in China while he was a BYU-Idaho student. Makes me wonder if he got a traditional Chinese haircut with the eye scraping.

I’m already short: I sure wish I was immune to diabetes!

    (and cancer!)

Was that 205.5 mph intentional, or just out of control on the ice?

So, does scraping your eyeballs with a metal blade make your eyesight sharper?

There’s a recent fad started by Japanese teenagers that involves licking each other’s eyeballs. It’s called ‘worming’ or oculolinctus. Believe it or not.

hat exactly is being scraped off? We already have natural body functions designed to keep our eyes clean.
This reminds me of a factoid I read about some years ago about odd cultural differences. In Japan, there was a popular fad going on where people would go into a place, pay a fee, and “fish” with others around a big tub filled with water. Now get this; there were no fish in the tub and the people knew it!

Years ago I heard of eyeball licking to remove foreign objects.

    Barbering can be rough!
My father-in-law grew up near Polok, Missouri – pop. 66?
(Actual name – check Mo. map)
Gun wielding man comes in and wants a shave, but says he’ll plug the barber if he gets nicked!
One says that he’ll take him on, and after the shave, the gunman tells the barber that he had a lot of guts to take that deal.
“Oh, I dunno – if I’d nicked you, I’t just went ahead and cut your throat!”

My appology – according to Wikipedia the town is spelled Pollock – same pronunciation.
