    The Book of Mormon says that the Nephites had camels, horses and elephants in the Americas at a time when those animals were supposedly extinct in the New World.
    (I thought you would know that.)

    Nope, not nearer the equator, just warmer. The arctic was 14 to 22 degrees Celsius warmer; the globe was two to three degrees warmer. Must have been all the Pliocene Escalades that caused it.

    There use to be a forest full of dinosarus in the Antarctic too. Some of it became seasonal and the forest and its animals froze while others migrated to Australia part of it part of the year till the next thaw.
