    I trust that the handcuffs are designed to shock only upon resistance, not constantly or randomly. Still, they can’t be in high demand.

    Probably faster than NYC traffic today!
    I’m guessing 15-20 mph back then with an electric. Electric-powered vehicles have some serious acceleration, which is inherent in electric motors.
