The Electoral College is a legal way to rig the presidential election. It was designed solely for that propose. The public is just fooling themselves if the think they have a say in who is president. The Electoral College just gives us a false feeling that our votes matter when it comes to the presidential election. The Electoral College needs to be gotten rid of but that will never happen.

With many people of the world starving, what is being proven by these eating contests? Didn’t Guiness stop publishing these events?

    Re the electorial college:
Someone did research on past elections, and found that other methods of selecting president would sometimes have favored the Democrats, and sometimes the Republicans.
Ie, someone could fight to change the system, and then have it work against him!

Like the 2000 POTUS election, the 1876 election is a strong argument for ending the senseless flawed electoral college system in favor of electing POTUS by populat vote.
