    A Chinese goldfish beauty contest (mentioned some few “Ripley’s” strips ago) AND an African sheep beauty contest?! Wow. So to speak, but seems like cats and dogs are losing some competition here.

    I highly recommend a Montessori education if one can afford it. Back during the heady days of the late 1960s and early 1970s, my parents were able to send me to a Montessori school, where students can learn at their own speed.
    I was able to learn many things in that school which I would not have learned in a public school, including metric in 2nd grade, which, if it’s taught at all in public school in the U.S., would be taught many years later.
