The Church had all the cats killed for they believed they were evil, and the cats used to kill the rats which spread the plague. How come this is never mentioned when half the world died because of bogus religious beliefs?

Not sure if the ‘church’ was behind the killing of cats. Cats were associated with witches as their “familiars” .. what ever that is. I do know that about this time the ‘church’ excommunicated Galileo Galilei for promoting the idea that the earth orbited around the sun (instead of the opposite) .. in other words, the Copernican theory versus the Aristotle theory, which the church supported.

What goes around comes around. They killed the cats and the rats killed them. They got what they deserved by killing all those poor cats.

Another Tidbit on the Black Death, supposedly Egypt had it first, and the death toll was so great they could not bury all the plague victims,
So they put the dead on ships and towed them out into the Med and cut them loose, the prevaling winds caused the ships to drift to Europe and the Plague found a whole new source of victims.

Because of their slit pupils, Pope Innocent the somethingth decreed cats evil and the ignorant people killed the cats, the fleas from the rats killed the people. True.

Lottery balls don’t duplicate numbers, and never draw just 3. Maybe they drew a 9 and an 11?

The state lotteries have a pick 3 drawing daily, with the balls from (0-9) drawn from 3 different containers. I remember everyone thinking the drawing was rigged because of the coincidence. I know quite a few people who still play that number on 9/11 each year. I also remember one year where 111 was drawn on January 11. The payoff for that was a little higher because there is no alternative combination of 3 identical numbers.
