Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Forget flowers and chocolates.
Providing your ailing beloved with a replacement kidney? Now THAT’S love.
There oughta be a “Love is…” on THAT couple.

Although donating a kidney is a wonderful gesture, I’ve often wondered about the life expectancy of both the donar and the recipient after the transplant. It would seem to put a tremendous burden on the one functioning kidney. Can these people really live normal lives as they would if they both had two good kidneys?

Lol, that’s what I was gonna say, but really, do ya think the story would have ever got out if he’d just said, “Yeah, that’s nice, call us when you got a donor,”?

Yes, defying steep odds she was a match alright, just as it says.
it doesn’t say she went along with it, though.
she gets married and then the first thing he asks of her is for her to be put under, hacked open with a knife and have one of her perfectly working kidneys removed and then to have to deal with the recuperation of said operation.
seems like a lot to ask
