    It doesn’t sound quite as impessive when you put it that way does it?

    Windsor and Detroit are separated by the Detroit River and connected by the Ambassador Bridge.
    Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4) are three days apart.
    Thanksgiving in Canada is celebrated the same day as the United States celebrates Columbus Day.

    Brilliant. I was thinking there can’t be too many Cheetah’s in Africa if they don’t overlap their territories. Radius of 9.8 miles ain’t much. Well put Mormon.

    What is amazing, is how so many people seem to lose their wallets all the time.

    I was stationed in Detroit (great job – horrible location) and we never got extra days off. The more days away from Detroit the better!

    @Jogger2 That radius of 9.8 miles = a 19.6 miles diameter…. pretty large area.

    How do you fit square miles into a circle though?

    Detroit is also one of the few (possibly only) locations where the continental united states is north of Canada

    The cheetah’s range sounds more impressive in hectares: about 77,700 hectares. A hectare is just under 2½ acres.

    Or… A square of 300 square miles is a square with sides ~17.32 miles long.

    According to Stephen Colbert, Windsor is the anus of the Earth.
