Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Try doing it and our church. You’d stopped at door.

I wonder if they taste different than a Catholic Church.

Well, that’s one way of attending a church in the UK. From what I’ve read, most of Western Europe (the UK included) has become so secularized that church attendance is almost nil. A shame … there was a time when the parents and grandparents of the current generation would huddle together in churches and bomb shelters to pray together. I think that only the Muslims in Western Europe do any regular organized prayer services any more … but maybe things aren’t as bad as I’ve been led to believe.

If the Planet is five times bigger, does that mean if there were people, they would be five times bigger also?!

I still think the barber who invented hair clippers modeled off of the hair-cutting technique of Edward Scissorhands is more impressive.

The simple explanation could be that the Muslims haven’t evolved as much as we have.

Maybe that explains some of my haircuts!

Those planets are infered by how their revolutions affect the position of their sun.
As the position of the sun shifts, it affects (slightly) the frequency (wavelength) of its emitted light.
Then, to compound the problem, we are observing this shift from a moving platform, ie our rotating Earth revolving around our Sun – and it revolving around the center of the local galaxy!
These measurements would be hopeless without computers.
