Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Give an octopus a wingsuit, drop him over New Zealand, and see if he can mimic a sheep.

y’know? Most of these modern “stunts” aren’t really stunts. They are more like a extra useless part to a machine now. Most of the stunts I have seen from 2006-2012 are very crud like. Such as a guy in a car.. No gas, No breaks. Just be pushed down a ramp and go flying safely.
I saw the video of Gary… He jumps from a helicopter and lands on a bunch of boxes….. Anyways there is no air shot of what he ACTUALLY landed on.. Also there is no video of him in the helicopter jumping. I am also very skeptical about how he is considered a dare devil if anyone can do this. I mean it doesn’t take any skills if you are wearing armor covering your body and latter taking it off and make it look harder then it is.

@Chicago Insurgent
Then there were pointless ones like Evel Knevel and that idiot who wants to jump and free fall from 23 miles up. Pointless and the “because it’s there” answer doesn’t really make sense. I speak as one who lost one brother to extreme sports and another left with brain injuries.

Don’t forget the stunt with the tesla coils,, the mesh suit was grounded , and I will bet the stunter was wearing insulation underneath.
