Ripley's Believe It or Not has been presenting the incredible and the unusual in illustrated form since Robert Ripley's first "Champs and Chumps" comic published on Dec. 19, 1918. Currently, B.I.O.N. is illustrated by John Graziano, who has been working as an artist and illustrator since 1983, when he received a certificate in illustration from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. He has designed trading card sets and a portrait series based on the 1960s cult TV show "Dark Shadows." John has also created comic strips for "Scream Queens" magazine, designed t-shirts graphics and created storyboards and concept drawings for Hollywood films. Researcher Lucas Stram has worked since 2004 as the voice behind the cartoon, reviewing potential stories, filtering through the hundreds of weekly submissions and putting together the stories for John to bring to life. New submissions are always welcome. Just click here.

Oh yes, British buses. They turn up if they like, when they like and charge you the earth to travel a few miles. We have a bus service here with buses that are so old, tatty and completely past it, my friend says they’re run by the BBC, the Bedrock Bus Company and run by a Mr F.Flintstone.

I agree! At least the cat would know that there is no such word as “Busing”

Do they charge the equivalent of £1.25 just to get on the bus? SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority), which serves the Philadelphia area, charges $2 just to get on the bus.
We joke that SEPTA stands for “Sorry Excuse (for a) Public Transit Agency” and “Surly Employees Poorly Transporting All.” (Some people replace the “A” with a racial term, but I don’t care for that)
Wags also say that SEPTA inspired a method of unreliable birth control involving being 10 minutes late!

“busing’: the act of clearing and resetting a table at a restaurant by the staff after the patrons have departed.

Remember, kids: If a tiger’s after you, you have a 95% chance of getting away! Right? :P

There was another cat who did the same thing but he has since died: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1244106/Cat-boarded-bus-day-years-killed-hit-run.html
Here is the original cat they are talking about in this strip, it’s real:

And you know this because….?
Also, using the word “period” at the end of a statement does not make that statement true.
I can say, “I am a unicorn. PERIOD.” But alas, I am still only human. ;)

so with tigers, 5% of the time they make a kill 100% of the time…

Silly kitties! If you hunted with partners you would have better percentages of success!

If attacked by a tiger, yell loudly and throw stuff at him (or her).

No, the bus takes the cat. C’mon, don’t be so retentive. It’s standard English. I take the bus. He takes the bus. You take the bus. The cat takes the bus. HEY! We ALL take the bus!
