This is not the kind of nonsense one wants to read on the Fourth of July! You calls it what you wants; I’ll calls it what I wants. They’re STARS AND STRIPES as far as I’m concerned. Everybody wants to change history and destroy tradition! LEAVE TRADITION ALONE!

In case he hasn’t noticed, that debris has already started accummulating along the west coast of Canada and California. What was most amazing was that SUV and an entire floating dock that actually survived the crossing. They’re afraid the small organisms, indigenous to the western Pacific, picked up by that dock will contaminate the waters off the west coast; so it’s being scraped and the residue is being buried on land. .

West Coast states can make good on all of those monthly unemployment checks by imposing upon the recipients to go out and clean up the trash.

WHAT?? You want to make those recipients actually work for their handouts? Why, that is just plain un-Californian!

Or maybe we can send all those deadbeats to China to find work in one of the 50,000 factories that our corporate overlords have shipped over there!

jyb: How many former “Mom & Pop” businesses have relocated overseas? Nope, it’s high taxation and over regulation what did the deed.

How many people did Mom and Pop employ and at what wage? Nope. sorry! They are still in business while good paying jobs in those 50,000 factories are gone for good because the greed for cheap labor by the pigs of capital knows no bounds. High taxation? Got any proof? Over regulation? Again, where’s your proof? Oh, sorry. Guess you let Fox Noise think for you!

The fact that the overseas workers can be made to work in sweatshop conditions for less than 1/10th of whaqt American workrs are paid has nothing to do with it.

What’s wrong with India that they would allow innocent women to be killed because of a belief in something that is impossible?

And just what did/do these regulations address? Worker safety? Worker health? Environmental protections? And you can be as “partial” as you want with your Economist right wing capitalist rag as you want but it’s still just feel good propaganda. Oh and I’ll sling all the mud I want if that’s what it takes to get you to think about whose side you’re on in this matter.

The dock floated to the OREGON coast, but the thought’s what counts…

Overseas operations don’t have 1/10 the taxation nor regulation we have.
