Rule number one of the no-name characters… never go out to investigate strange noises…

wait, isn’t his shirt supposed to be red? or does that only go for good guys?

The fist and the last comment create unintended thoughts. Funny, I was just looking at a very old issue of Bear Magazine (Musc/Beefy Hairy Men). One guy wanted to use his fist and you probably wouldn’t want to sit down for a week. Probably not what Dan Thompson had in mind.

I’m guessing that Dan was thinking of kicking his bottom very hard. Everything else is either ineffective or out of character for Rip.

I got a question for you Haywire hooligans…I’ve been thinking about the next Rip Haywire reprint book “Rip Haywire goes Ka-Breezy” Normally, the books are 8.5 by 8.5 with 3 strips per page…I’ve been thinking of changing it to 8.25 by 6 inches and 2 comics per page…to possibly make the strips larger in print form… Any thoughts from the fans who purchase Rip books? good or bad idea?

As long as it has a lot of Breezy, I am ok with it, she is the best thing that ever happened to Tipster!

If you are excluding Sunday strips, the “three daily strips per page” format would be best. That way you can view a week’s worth of daily strips all at the same time on two facing pages.

If you include the Sunday strips, it really doesn’t matter since you are losing that nice two-pages-per-week format anyway. I’ve never much cared for the three-pages-per-week format. There’s little difference between that and four-pages-per-week.

I have 3 of them and quite like the size they are now – they read fine with my bad eyes.
By the way you wrote the first comic books that I have bought since I was a kid.
Although I do think you needed a ka-zipidy when Rip left the firing town yesterday

Aren’t the Sunday strips already in a book (order link on this page)?

I like your usual size. Makes it easier to find on the bookshelf
