The Adventure Comic Strip is Back -- With a Twist -- in "Rip Haywire."
Rip Haywire is a soldier of fortune, a brave, square-jawed man of honor who lives for danger. Accompanied on adventures of chance by his cowardly dog TNT and his venomous ex-girlfriend Cobra, Rip tracks down lost treasure, takes down madmen and takes on any job that promises heart-pounding action, peril and intrigue! And, of course, humor.

Since when does Rip get letters from Skull goons?

I dunno, that left was a KA-NOSE! Probably won’t need a right.

I love the “KA-NOSE” sound effect. You won’t find that in just any old comic strip.

The goon is offended that Rip doesn’t know his name, after the working relationship they’ve built over the years. Man, I love this comic strip! There is just nothing else like it anywhere. Not even close.

To paraphrase an old Star Trek Quote:
Only Fools Fight in a Exploding Fortress
Find C and get out Rip.

I’ll bet the KA-NOSE gets him off that Christmas card list…

I’m just saying that because (if Rip is right-handed) a hard right usually follows a nice flat left jab, and besides he is in a good position to put that jerk to sleep with a payoff right. I’m old and retired now, but when I was a younger man, I did fight. Having said that back in the 80’s at Trappers Lake in Colorado we were partying, drinking (and other things) and my boss called my sweet (but at that moment drunk) little bride a b***h. So I popped him (Gary Worley) just about like Rip did Skull Goon #1 with my left hand, and he dropped like a box of rocks. The funny thing was, this guy was so embarrassed that he quit his (high paying) job two days later after returning to work saying he was in a pickup truck wreck the day before. He was not in a car wreck, but he did have both eyes black and maybe a broken nose.

I dunno, Taz…
That KA-NOSE might just put his nose back in place.

Dan, did you ever play the old “No One Lives Forever” computer game series?
If not, you should track it down and play it; you would fit its humor perfectly.

Remember this is in Rip’s brain. Not a dream but a construct.

You saying “ka-NOSE” should be followed by “ka-CHIN”? (c:
