The Adventure Comic Strip is Back -- With a Twist -- in "Rip Haywire."
Rip Haywire is a soldier of fortune, a brave, square-jawed man of honor who lives for danger. Accompanied on adventures of chance by his cowardly dog TNT and his venomous ex-girlfriend Cobra, Rip tracks down lost treasure, takes down madmen and takes on any job that promises heart-pounding action, peril and intrigue! And, of course, humor.

I gave Dan kudos for the “Occurrence at Owl Creek” referenced strips a week or so ago. Kudos aren’t good enough for this twist.

Congratulations to Dan Thompson!
He has converged the Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits and the Matrix (with just a sprinkle of Goosebumps, I might add!) into one four-panel strip! And by doing so, he has created the most suspense-packed weekend ever.
Rip is worried about his chin? Would he rather have his father’s ears?
