The Adventure Comic Strip is Back -- With a Twist -- in "Rip Haywire."
Rip Haywire is a soldier of fortune, a brave, square-jawed man of honor who lives for danger. Accompanied on adventures of chance by his cowardly dog TNT and his venomous ex-girlfriend Cobra, Rip tracks down lost treasure, takes down madmen and takes on any job that promises heart-pounding action, peril and intrigue! And, of course, humor.

Dorian Tenore-Bartilucci said, almost 2 years ago
By now, Cobra should resign herself to the fact that Rip is a man of action, not words. Ah, but what action! :-)

Ah, comics noir. (Well, noir et blanc avec des nuances de gris.) I can get used to it, but that poor colorist, out of work, and in this economy. Ooo – nice header across the top of the page!

Yeah, It’s weird some comics are not in color today or have the magnifier… I got my comics.com email this morning and Rip and Cobra were in color like they normally are…I know it will work itself out…On a personal note…thanks everybody for following me over from Comics.com! You guys are the best!

Whether he’s in colour or black & white, Rip Haywire will always be our “big, sweet roll of danger”.

This sucks! No color and no magnifier?!
Why not?!
They were both available on comics.com so they exist

Many of the Comics.com features are in black & white today because of a technical glitch that caused b&w files to be substituted for color. We appreciate your patience as we get this issue resolved!

Why is it that males, in general, have so much trouble understanding women code? Studies of the two brains-males and females doesn’t show any obvious differences. But something is at work. I am a male and have had the same problems so it must be universal.

HUZZAH and HUGPOUNCEZZZ!! Rejoice ! for I have Arrived!!! (insert awed genuflections….HERE). My oh MY what a Drab and near-lifeless landscape we find ourselves in. Not sure I care for this Venue at All. But, the Company is Most Excellent and so there may yet be Hope.

Cobra Carson: Ardent Advocate of Amorous Al Fresco Antics. Rip Haywire: Hirsute, Hunky, Hopelessly clueless Hero For Hire. or, to Quote Cap’n Jack Sparrow… “If you were waiting for the Opportune Moment mate…THAT was it”
