Do you notice as the age increases the letters get bigger?

Now, that’s just mean - Accurate, but mean…

Print on a lot of products has gotten smaller, mostly due I think, to the bi-lingual instructions and cautions. Other times, it could be due to saving ink.

Gweedo, is that why I keep hitting the “Make Text Bigger” button on the computer?

Why has the text on medicine bottles shrunk?

A buddy of mine from high school was in my area on a business trip a couple of years ago, and after dinner and all we decided to revisit our youth strumming the guitar and singing back at my place. We were singing old tunes we both remembered, and then I had a song for him that I’d recently worked up, but I still needed the lyrics, so I pulled out the CD the original was on and got out my magnifying glass to read the lyrics. He cracked up and said “Geez, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has to do that!” Yeah, our 40th HS reunion is coming up. I’ll take that card for the 50-somethings.

Yep, you know you’ve hit middle age, when you own a magnifying glass, and keep it handy. I think I know what my husband will get as one of his stocking stuffers. (He keeps borrowing my magnifying glass.)

At 47 I only use my reading glasses when I’m reading a book.
Hate to admit there are other times I might need them.

Give it time Doc- give it time. Of course, in time, leaving your glasses off will make it unneccessary to get out the dust cloth! ;-)
