    If parents feel that they have to be paid back every cent that they ever spent on their kids, they should have put them up for adoption. I don’t know of any child that chose to be born.

    While my parent did buy most of my clothes and occasionally took me to college during my undergraduate years and I lived at home for one semester when I was an intern teacher, all they paid for my on-campus expenses was $70.00 and that was for one month’s room and board when I was a 1st semester freshman.

    I had a part-time job all of the rest of the time.

    All of the rest was actually paid for through a government loan which I paid off after I got out of school.
