   How’d we come up with easter eggs and the easter bunny? Was jesus allergic to eggs? Did he declare when he came back all the eggs had better be gone or there’d be hell to pay? Quick everyone. Hide the eggs, disguise them, whatever…. just make it quick.

   Basically, it’s spring, spring means new life, eggs symbolize new life.

   I once read that eggs were forbidden during Lent, so on Easter (the end of Lent) Christians let loose, egg-wise.

   Why decorate them? What person with a grain of artistic expression can resist all that white canvas? (My guess.)
