I think that Reynolds came unwrapped on this one!

All we need now is some lettuce and tomatoe and just a little bit of mayo.

I agree Hawkeye, I think this one has the earmarks of being chmically assisted. It is a real non sequitur (the term, not the comic)

The slot on his back implies that he is a piggy bank, not a toaster. Reynolds isn’t even trying to come up with something clever. He may have gone as far as he can with the barnyard theme.

If it is a piggy bank, maybe this is a representation of how the current economy is toast.

Well, since Dan Reynolds stopped drawing Reynolds Unwrapped several years ago, I doubt very much that it’s a comment on the current economy. Unless he’s started drawing it again, of course.

Farren you are most mistaken. Please double check you facts. Dan never stopped drawing comics. He just stopped showing new comics here for a while, and went to direct contact with his readers.
Direct subscribers get commentary and incites with the cartoon emailed Daily directly from Dan.
Like many I have been a direct subscriber since September 2006.

That’s odd. Reynolds stopped drawing Reynolds Unwrapped years ago? Where do you get your information? You’re making that up. I happen to subscribe to his daily cartoon via email! I’ve subscribed to it for a few years. All of his subscribers to his newsletter receive brand new cartoons. He also adds commentary to his daily cartoon. So, I can assure you he has never stopped drawing cartoons.
Where did you get that info Ferran. Maybe there is something I don’t know? Please let me know as I don’t want to be subscribed to a cartoon that is being drawn by someone else.

a piggy bank.
toast.
a piggy bank looks like a toaster.
maybe he is suggesting that the banks are “toast”.
