    Not quite. I tried holding a damaged rear view mirror housing together. Once the sun heated the housing, the tape got very gooey and everything slid into chaos.

    Reminds me of some friends who had a radiator leak while on a mountain road trip. They patched it with bubble gum and it lasted until they could get to a town.
