I think you could make chocolate chip cookies with Carob as a substitute for chocolate. Healthy for dogs, they love it.

Raisins are bad for dogs, too. Leave them out of the oatmeal cookies, please.

Carob is made from agricultural waste. Specifically, the parts of the lotus pod that cows won’t eat.

Carob is a tropical pod that contains a sweet, edible pulp and inedible seeds. After drying, the pulp is roasted and ground into a powder that resembles cocoa powder, but does not have the same flavor and texture of chocolate.

I’ve really enjoyed the series this week. Rover’s expressions have been priceless.
