That can’t be food for Rover. But at least he didn’t dream that he ate a giant marshmallow.

When I got my GS, he saw a loaf of bread on the counter and gently grabbed it and brought it back to the bedroom for me to share with him. How could I get mad at him?
He did learn that things on counters and tables were off limits though.

“When I got my GS…” A Gordon Setter?! :) Gotta smile about his bread adventure…Rover can do it in his sleep, a dog of all trades… ;)

My mom put a few slices of bread on a plate and put it on the stove to dry out for dressing. A little later, she came back and said that she could have sworn there were 6 slices and not 5. The dog got a guilty look and went into the corner.

I don’t recall having seen his mom before.
