    Not a good sign for a yellow Lab. Being tuckered out so fast means that Rover is getting old and Red won’t have him much longer.

    This is just so beautifully drawn and composed. The floating panels give us moments of action, set against the larger panels frozen in time. The frame at the end with the reflections of trees in the water is just gorgeous. The more I read this strip the more I love it for its storytelling, warmth, and artistry.
