I’m savoring the beauty of a summer’s day, in quiet reflection with Red and Rover!

I do this with my border collie Samba regularly. It’s my favourite thing to do. We also cuddle like this every morning as he is always waiting for me outside m ybedroom door. When I open my door he comes in, jumps on my bed and we have a cuddle and a play. This has GOT to be one of the best ways to start the day. It is for me. I really love my dog.

Life is too short to be wasted sleeping beautiful summer days away.

I really like this comic strip! And this morning’s message especially got to me. I’m retired now and have a beloved dog. Life is definitely a journey to be savored. I’ve slowed down to enjoy my moments and my dog Gracie helps me with that!

That’s very sweet. I wish I had a dog but I have cats instead. My cat Macushla is very affectionate and loving. though.

I too love the moment but several problems here. I am alergic to the grass, it’s 100+ in the shade and the grass ain’t green. Given that I’ll get my 60 lb lab on my lap as I rest in my easy chair. A good substitute.
