Speaking of “Master” and the era in which Red & Rover is set, rest in peace to Jeannie’s master, Major Tony Nelson in “I Dream of Jeannie,” played by Larry Hagman, who passed away yesterday at age 81.
I doubt that R&R was set late enough (or Red was awake late enough) for Red to know who J.R. Ewing was.

Amen, Soar among the stars Major Nelson. I hope your Jeannie is awaiting you.

I didn’t even know Larry Hagman was still alive until I saw a promo for the new Dallas series. Now he really is dead. :(
