Red and Rover, you look like Frank and Jesse James to me!

That’s what happens when a dog and a boy’s imaginations go wild!

My mom used to always tell me, “You’re a good kid. You’re not hairy and four legged, but you’re a good kid”.

You make a great Butch and Sundance pup…I miss the cowboys, dont see kids dress like that anymore, they are always some kind of devil looking things…

No more TV Westerns to inspire them?
Sad that an era has passeth.

You have political correctness to thank for that. These days now if you see a western, it’ll be mostly about bandits and gunfights, not about Cowboys and Indians…oh, I’m sorry, Cowboys and native Americans.

In my neck of the woods they all seem to have to be some kind of superhero from today’s not so classic cartoon shows.

…and they wonder how children get abducted.
Sigh…

Ohhhh…. I kept wondering what a “kid” was… In the Game of Thrones books when someone would mention eating one, but always forgot to look it up. Haha, thought it was some kind of bird :P

@WyattMute
No, in Game of Thrones they mean munching on actual children…
(I’m baby-goating you. I’ve never watched or read Game of Thrones ).

You think that’s how the Lone Ranger and Tonto look like? Talk about a mother who pays no attention to what her son is watching on TV!

Actually it is Rover who is dressed like the Lone Ranger. Hi, ho, Silver, away!!!!!

It used to be that good and evil was very clearly defined…the white hats were the good guys and the black hats were the bad ones. These days, evil is cleverly disguised and many are easily fooled. How I loved the Saturday movies long ago.

Way to set Red straight, Rover.

Wrong again. Not that political correctness actually means anything when it is used. Ever heard of “Deadwood?” Well “Indians” is so correct because Columbus found India right?
